Karnataka Rajyothsava day was celebrated with great vigor and grandeur at Chrysalis High, Bannerghatta Road. The programme began with the very traditional and auspicious ‘ lighting the lamp’ ceremony by the Principal, The programme proceeded with a Keerthane by the teachers. Students enthralled the audience by dancing to the tunes of popular Kannada songs. Children danced to the tune of Nada Geethe (State Anthem).
A quiz on Karnataka made students sit up and think about the contribution and achievements of people from the State. Students and staff members, dressed in the traditional attire, proving that tradition can be made trendy and chic. The Principal also spoke about the rich heritage of Karnataka. The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience for being a part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant. The show was an educational journey for the students and an opportunity for the participants to showcase the values and cultures of their resident state Karnataka.
